Privacy Policy

Welcome to Lucas Hale Design LLC (“LHD,” “we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit lucashaledesign.com (the “Site”) or work with us (the “Services”).

 

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site.

 

1) Who We Are & How to Contact Us

If you are an EU/UK resident, LHD is the data controller for your personal data collected via the Site.

 

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

A) You provide it to us

  • Contact details (name, email, phone) when you submit forms, book a call, or email us

  • Project details, brand assets, and content you share to receive a quote or Services

  • Newsletter/SMS sign-ups (if enabled)

B) We collect automatically

  • Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URLs)

  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)

C) From third parties (if enabled)

  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics)

  • Advertising platforms (e.g., Google/Meta)

  • Payment/commerce tools (if used)

  • Email/SMS platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Twilio)

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health, precise geolocation, government IDs).

 

3) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and deliver Services

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and user experience

  • Send transactional messages (project updates, invoices, notices)

  • Send marketing communications (email/SMS) with your consent—opt out anytime

  • Detect, prevent, and address security, fraud, or technical issues

  • Comply with legal obligations

Legal bases (EU/UK): your consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., website analytics, security), and legal obligations.

 

4) How We Share Information

We share information only as needed:

  • Service providers/Processors: hosting, analytics, email/SMS, project tools, payment processors

  • Legal/Compliance: to comply with laws or valid legal requests

  • Business transfers: if we sell or restructure our business

We do not sell your personal information. We may “share” limited data for cross-context behavioral advertising (as defined under some U.S. state laws) when advertising cookies/pixels are active. See Your Rights & Choices for how to opt out.

 

5) Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here (e.g., while your project is active and for reasonable backup/accounting periods). We retain unsubscribe/suppression lists to honor opt-out requests. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

 

6) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use:

  • Essential cookies to operate the Site (security, load balancing)

  • Analytics cookies to understand Site performance and improve content

  • Advertising cookies (if enabled) for measurement and remarketing

You can manage cookies via your browser settings and (if implemented) our [Cookie Settings] link. Blocking some cookies may impact Site functionality.

 

7) Your Rights & Choices

Email/SMS marketing:

  • Email: click “unsubscribe” in any message or email us at [hello@lucashaledesign.com].

  • SMS (if enabled): reply STOP to opt out; HELP for help. Standard rates may apply.

Browser signals: We will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required.

EU/UK residents (GDPR): You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You also have the right to withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

U.S. state privacy (e.g., CA/CPRA, CO, CT, VA, UT): Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

  • Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected

  • Request deletion or correction

  • Opt out of “sale”/“sharing” for targeted advertising (see cookie preferences)

  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

To exercise rights, email [privacy@lucashaledesign.com] with “Privacy Request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.

 

8) California/CPRA Notice (Summary)

Categories collected: identifiers (e.g., name, email), commercial information (project details), internet/usage data (Site analytics).
Sources: you, your devices, and service providers.
Purposes: as listed in Section 3.
Disclosure: to service providers and as described in Section 4.
Sale/Sharing: we do not sell; we may share limited data for targeted ads when ad cookies are enabled. You can opt out via [Cookie Settings] or send a request to [privacy@lucashaledesign.com].
Sensitive personal information: not intentionally collected.
Retention: as described in Section 5.

 

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

10) International Transfers

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for EU/UK transfers.

 

11) Third-Party Links & Tools

Our Site may link to third-party websites or embed third-party tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing data.

 

12) Children’s Privacy

Our Site and Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us to delete it.

 

13) Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because no uniform DNT standard exists, we do not respond to DNT signals. We do honor GPC as noted above.

 

14) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Policy.
